How do you start a buisness when bootstrapping is not possible what if you need 2 million?

Question by mabisking26: How do you start a buisness when bootstrapping is not possible what if you need 2 million?
No SBA Loan will help an individual for that kind of cash nor will the government its a hoax and a lie. I could go to school and have a masters degree and still not start my own Business but I could be Heart surgeon that pays better so weak point yes but you see what I mean. I dream of starting a driving range i need proper land nets mats balls and nice building for the pro shop and a next door restaurant and pub I will need an indoor golf simulator pool table and a mini snack bar outside. I will need lights artificial turf and proper greens maybe even levels for the golfers. This land needs to be commercial and have a dense population. This will cost back what is a poor man to do?

Be realistic. Come up with 30% of your own money and most lenders will loan you the rest. No lender will take 100% of the risk of starting a new business. If things don’t go well, you can walk away free and clear and the lender is left with all of the debt.

This is 1 of 4. Background: Our 1st landscaper took us for nearly 000, and then sued us for breach of contract (after he failed to show for 3 months). Next was our contractors son-in-law. He did it fast, but within a year the sprinklers leaked, the sod was dying from a parasite in the soil they brought in, and the uneven hardscape made walking around the yard like competing in an obstacle course game show on Japanese TV. Our contractor talked us out of going the artificial turf route in the first place, but the option was again promising. System Pavers of Newport Beach, Calif; did the design & layout, and came with good reputation (they did all of the outside of Angel Stadium in the same manner). The grass is synthetic turf. Since we live in Los Angeles (a desert) with very strict water restrictions, we maximized a rebate program and received nearly 00 to put it in place. Plus, since we stopped watering our yard 2 months ago, we have saved about 6000 gallons of water (according to our local water district) and lowered our bill by about a month.

FieldTurf Reaches Historic 3000th Sports Field Installation Worldwide at the City of Redmond’s Grass Lawn Park

FieldTurf Reaches Historic 3000th Sports Field Installation Worldwide at the City of Redmond’s Grass Lawn Park

FieldTurf

Redmond, WA (Vocus) January 29, 2009

FieldTurf, the world leader in artificial turf surfacing, is installing its record-breaking 3000th installation worldwide at the City of Redmond’s Grass Lawn Park. The City of Redmond purchased their first FieldTurf field in 2000 and then went on to add 6 more fields at various parks around the city. FieldTurf is a significant upgrade to natural grass fields due in large part to its environmental benefits and its ability to accommodate all of the City’s sports teams, as well as community and non-sporting events.

Mayor Marchione and FieldTurf executives will be present at the celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony to be held at Grass Lawn Park in the spring.

“Redmond is proud to be the 3000th installation of FieldTurf’s synthetic field surface product and we are happy to be part of this milestone,” stated City of Redmond Mayor John Marchione. “A very important reason we use this product is because of its environmental benefits. We save a significant amount of water, fertilizer and carbon emissions every year. It is a very durable, grass-like artificial surface and the community has been thrilled with our state-of-the-art playing fields. FieldTurf has provided us with excellent, professional service since we began our relationship in 2000. “

“We are very pleased that our 3000th installation falls on such a loyal and satisfied long-time client,” said FieldTurf Tarkett CEO Joe Fields. “It is a great accomplishment for our team to have reached this number — yet we still have the same amount of excitement and dedication as if this were our very first installation. The quality measures we have in place ensure that the City of Redmond will always receive industry-best products and services from FieldTurf. All of us at FieldTurf are celebrating our 3000th installation, and we’re happy that the City of Redmond brought us to this achievement”

FieldTurf helps organizations earn the necessary points needed for U.S. Green Building Council LEED certification. NFL Players Rank FieldTurf as Best Artificial Turf Field in the League for Tenth Year in a Row

NFL Players Rank FieldTurf as Best Artificial Turf Field in the League for Tenth Year in a Row

Dallas, TX (Vocus/PRWEB) February 04, 2011

The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) released their biennial ranking of NFL stadium fields during a press conference at the Super Bowl Media Center in Dallas yesterday. For the tenth consecutive year, FieldTurf emerged as the leader among all artificial turf brands in the 2010 NFL Players Playing Surfaces Opinion Survey. An impressive three out of the league’s top four surfaces were FieldTurf fields. A total of 1619 active NFL players from all 32 teams completed survey forms.

Of the 31 NFL stadium fields rated by the players, FieldTurf’s Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts, was ranked as the league’s best artificial surface for the second consecutive time. This marked the fifth consecutive survey and the tenth year in a row that one of FieldTurf’s fields has owned the top position as the best artificial surface in the NFL.

In addition to Lucas Oil Stadium’s position as the top-ranked artificial turf field in the league in the ‘Best Artificial Infilled Playing Field’ category, FieldTurf surfaces once again scored high at other stadiums as well. The New Meadowlands Stadium finished in second place while Seattle’s Qwest Field ranked fourth, marking the tenth year in a row that the FieldTurf at the Seahawks’ home field has ranked in the top five among all artificial turf fields. The Georgia Dome rated sixth, Gillette Stadium was seventh, Ford Field ranked eighth and Paul Brown Stadium was tenth.

The Shaw Sportexe field at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium dropped from previous years, falling to eighth place while Shaw Sportexe’s field in Minnesota at the Metrodome ranked 11th. Astroturf’s field in St. Louis at the Edward Jones Dome was also in the bottom tier coming in at the ninth position while Buffalo’s Astroturf surface at Ralph Wilson Stadium placed last among all artificial turf fields.

In the ‘Worst Artificial Infilled Playing Field’ category, the Shaw Sportexe field in Minnesota was ranked as the worst artificial surface in the league by NFL players, followed by Astroturf’s surface at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo and Astroturf’s surface at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Over the last decade, FieldTurf has set industry records for player approval and rankings of artificial surfaces through the league’s biennial players survey. More importantly is the clear direction that continues to be shown as more and more players experience the different surfaces at NFL stadiums from coast to coast.

“The 2010 NFL Players Playing Surfaces Opinion Survey reaffirms the level of excellence we are committed to,” said FieldTurf President Eric Daliere. “As a result of more and more players experiencing FieldTurf, our ratings continue to be the highest among all artificial turf brands. We really like hearing it from the NFL players themselves and we’re proud of every one of the 7000+ fields we’ve put in the ground.”

St. Louis Rams Getting New Fieldturf At Edward Jones Dome

St. Louis, MO (Vocus) June 12, 2009

A brand-new, state-of-the-art FieldTurf surface will be installed for the NFL’s St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams have been playing their home games exclusively on FieldTurf since the 2005 campaign. The latest version from the worldwide leader in artificial turf will be in place when the Rams open their 2009 schedule with a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons on August 21.

The Rams are one of 22 NFL franchises who currently use FieldTurf at their stadium and/or practice facility. Additionally, the Rams have a FieldTurf practice field at Rams Park.

“We are very pleased to continue our relationship with FieldTurf,” said Rams General Manager Billy Devaney. “The FieldTurf surface has been good for our players and we look forward to playing on it again this season at the Edward Jones Dome.”

“We are honored to continue our longstanding relationship with the Edward Jones Dome, the city of St. Louis and, of course, with the Rams,” said FieldTurf CEO Joe Fields. “Everyone at FieldTurf is proud of our extensive involvement with the National Football League, which is considered by many to be the premier professional league in all of sports. Our outstanding track record of safety, playability and service has guided our relationship with the Rams, and with the other NFL franchises. The Edward Jones Dome opened in 1995 and has a current seating capacity of 66,000.

The NFL Players Association released their bi-annual ranking of NFL stadium fields during a January 29 press conference in Tampa prior to the Super Bowl. Once again, the results tabbed FieldTurf as the runaway leader among all artificial turf brands. In data gathered from polling/voting of over 1500 NFL players, 40% of the league’s Top Ten surfaces were FieldTurf fields. In addition, four of the top five and eight of the top ten artificial turf fields in the league are FieldTurf, according to that NFLPA data.
